Dominion Diagnostics has been announced by Providence Business News as one of 34 winners in the fourth annual Healthiest Employers of Rhode Island recognition program.  The honor was largely based on Dominion's ACHIEVE Health & Wellness Program.

The ACHIEVE Health & Wellness Program at Dominion Diagnostics is designed to educate, support and empower Dominion Diagnostics' employees and their families to achieve overall health & wellness. The ACHIEVE team hosts wellness programs throughout the year and shares community resources that encourage employee engagement in a healthy style of living. 

The 34 finalists, chosen based on scores in six wellness categories – culture and leadership commitment, foundation components, strategic planning, communication and marketing, programming and interventions, and reporting and analysis – will be honored at an Aug. 13 luncheon at the Providence Marriott Downtown, featuring Provant Health Services LLC Founder and CEO Heather Provino as the keynote speaker.

The Healthiest Employers in RI Award is focused on analytics, outcomes and engagement in employee health and wellness programs. The award is based on the evaluation of a 75-question assessment that was scored using a proprietary system by Healthiest Employers Inc., which conducts similar surveys in roughly 50 markets nationwide.  The finalists have been broken down into five categories based on the number of total company employees, with the ranking in each category to be announced at the Aug. 13 event.  Presenting sponsor of the program is Tufts Health Plan. Partner sponsors are the American Heart Association, CVS Health Corp. and USI Insurance Services.
