Dominion Diagnostics is headquartered in a 50,000-square foot state-of-the-art laboratory in North Kingstown, Rhode Island (located within the Quonset Development Corporation network) and delivers the vast majority of its services through Rhode Island. Two additional laboratories in Williston, Vermont and Greensboro, North Carolina allow for dedicated regional support in both the Northeast and Southeast. Critical national logistics and supply partnerships, as well as numerous patient service center locations, allow Dominion to support the expanding needs of its customers who represent like-minded addiction treatment centers, behavioral health facilities, pain management practices, primary care practices and hospital systems.

In 1997, a group of scientists recognized a need to deliver a higher standard of drug testing than was available at the time and founded Dominion Diagnostics with special interest in the addiction medicine field. The small start-up team of three missioned "to discover, develop and perform diagnostic laboratory procedures that improve the quality of life." Now twenty years later, Dominion's services span across more than 75% of the United States and have touched the lives of millions of patients and their families – in fact, just this year alone the company will reach a milestone of testing over one million unique patient samples – most of whom were affected by the ever-expanding national drug use epidemic.  Compounding its history, Dominion's expert research and development team has over 40 years of combined experience in bioanalytical method development and validation, affording the company a leading edge in proprietary method development and discovery to address emerging needs in patient care.
